Just a guy asked: I’ve never needed to hire a lawyer before, so I don’t know how to pick the right one. I see many listed in the phone book, and I can find more online, but how do i know who is good and who is not? What kind of criteria should I be looking for?

toccara m asked: I have had 2 lawyers so far who only made my situation worse. One was recommended by a friend, the other by one of those find-a-lawyer call lines. How can you be sure your lawyer is working for you, not against you? I live in a small town and get the feeling they are all friends.
