Smith asked: Is it legal to purchase an internet connection at one location and use radios/microwaves to forward to other branches within our company? We currently have this in place and our internet provider has been wondering why we only have one connection at our one location. We have 4 locations with one being our central site with our server.

Passionate Praiser asked: I live in Michigan and want to rent a home. I found a guy who said that he would rent out this home that he purchased at a Sheriff sale. He said that there was still a redemption period that allows the original homeowner to pay what they owe and get their house back. I was wondering if it is legal in Michigan for him to rent out the house to us during this redemption period?

Eyeball asked: My car was in a front end collision and i need to take it to a body shop to see about repairs. The car has tax and MOT and i can insure it just for the day. I can also put the number plate in the front wind screen. However, i have removed the front bumper, headlights and indicators. Is it still legal to drive?

um asked: I’m currently studying in USA. I find that the lectures here are amazing. I think I could help other students (especially in my home country) to understand what I learned by summarizing the ideas I’ve got from the classes and upload them to my personal blog for other students to read. Is it illegal doing this? If it is, is there any way I can make it legal?

curiogirl84 asked: I’m just curious.
I’ve heard the government can refuse to hire people if they’ve been hospitalized for it. There are jobs I’d love to go for, but I’m worried they’d do a background check, find out about how I was hospitalized for it, and refuse to hire me. And I’m thinking it would be legal for them to. Is it?
I am considering going into social work to help people who also suffer from depression. Will this get in the way of that?

Jennifer J asked: I am looking to organize a fundraiser to offset costs incurred by individual players on my sport’s National Team. The national govering body for the sport is a not-for-profit organization, but this would not directly involve that organization in any way. Would a sweepstakes with “suggested donations” being payable online be legal?

Interior Despisor asked: For example, full absinthe is banned but alcohol is legal?
Like a legal compromise…?
What is the legal definition for banning something, but allowing “parts” of it to be legal?
