He got his first DUI in January of last year, then in June he got a disorderly conduct, then in September he got a false reporting to authorities. Now he just got his 2nd DUI. He was on probation for the false reporting still for a period of 12months that he is not supposed to get in trouble. And now this. I am kind of glad that he got it because he will now maybe learn his lesson that he shouldn’t drink even though I don’t think he learned from the 1st offenses. But I was wondering what he should do and maybe how much time he will get I know he is going to have to sit sometime in jail and I told him that. But he has court on August 17th do you think he should talk to a lawyer before then? And also this is in South Dakota is it possible to use your suspended imposition for a 2nd DUI? He blew a .161, but that is still 2 times the legal limit here, I guess he passed the sobriety test that they give you, just not the breathallizer Any help would be great and I really dont’ want smart comments because obviously I know he did wrong I just want some advice on where to tell him to go sometimes he is not the brightest. I think that is all that I have but PLEASE HELP!

The second reason why not is b/c the two guys were old friends of hers. She tried to fight back but ended up with a broken wrist and broken ribs.
She doesn’t want her parents to know b/c she thinks they will blame her for not fighting back.

We recently rented an apartment in town to stay at a few days a week. Cable was already installed in this 50+-year-old building when we moved in. We would prefer not to deal with the cable company, as their customer service is terrible and we can get a better package from the satellite provider. However, the bldg management won’t allow us to install a dish on the building. We can see why they’d have this rule, but is it legal for them to limit our choices in this way? We are in Ontario Canada. We have read that, in the US, they cannot ban satellite dish installations by law.

Apparently there was a long wait for the gear part to arrive so we had to drive this one bus with no reverse gear for nearly 2 mths! We were told to make sure not to get up close to anything and that it was not a legal requirement for buses like it is for cars. Can anyone out there tell me if this is the case. Even our union rep said it was legal. Sounds wrong to me, would appreciate someone with the correct legal knowledge please to answer. Thanks.
