How do i file a restraining order in texas do i need a lawyer?

lawyer
Belly asked:

I recently left my husband about a month ago, during this period he’s been really emotional and angry at times? He’s never been violent with me but he sent me a text message on my phone stating that if i was seeing someone i might come up missing, and that he would hurt me but we have two kids together so how does the restraining order affect his visitation. I haven’t seen a lawyer because i don’t have the money so what should i do?

You ought to not be acting up-he has the right to lay down the law you know. You need to make things right there or some one will get hurt when he comes by with his boys and lays down the law. Trailer Park Warrior

you do not need a lawyer, go to the courthouse.
what you need is proof of a violent act or threat of one.
visitation will need to be handled by a 3rd party
    good luck twea
