How long do I have after an accident to contact a lawyer?

Presumably you already did all the necessary steps when involved in an accident; have the authorities on the scene & make a report with them; exchange info with the other driver/parties involved; get names of witnesses; contact your insurance company - let your insurance company handle the details not 2 B fooled

um usually u have until u sign the papers your or there insurance company offers u to settle acc….also most states have a 180 -1 year statute on filing a suit…so 2 days is fine…..but seriously y do u think u need a lawyer?? Karle
