Is it legal for a seventeen year old to move to Michigan from Florida without parents permission?

legal
Lil-Bake-Juggalo asked:

My girlfriend wants to move to Michigan, shes 17 and currently lives in Florida, but shes very unhappy in Florida, and i want to help her out, shes just worried about getting in trouble.

I heard that the legal age you can leave your parents house in Michigan is 17, but i was wondering if it still applies if she came from Florida?

I really need real and true answers, please!….. Thank You!

No u have to b a legal adult or basically 18yrs old, tell ur gf to wait or her parents could call social security and have her brought home or to a juvenile center, yikes! thechris

no, sorry. just one more year!! LOL thing is, you’re still considered a “kid” at any age under 18 so her parents can feel free to report her as a run-away or whatever, basically she’s still under their guard. just tell her to talk to em about it, it wouldn’t hurt! dAYO !
