Is it legal to put bobblehead toys in the back window of your car?
midnightslasher83 asked:
I live In Virginia and I’d like to put my 4 KISS bobbleheads in the back of my little Chevy Metro. Is that legal in this state?

I’m not sure of the legality of it, but if a cop pulls you over for having Gene Simmons in your back window, he’s a moron. Soy

I wouldn’t see why not . As long as it wasn’t distracting your view. circe459

Sounds like you are making your car a magnet for vandalizers who hate kiss. I don’t know if it’s legal where you live but a cop should be able to tell you. Lily

I don’t know about being legal or not, but it is very dangerous to have ANYTHING in your back window. If you were to have a crash, what ever is in the back, will come flying forward at a great speed, and it could kill you or anyone riding in the car if it hits you in the back of the head… just something to think about Just Me

I know that in some states, having anything that is perched or hanging in a car window is illegal. (i.e., for sale signs, anything hanging from your rear view mirror, stickers, etc.)
The Metro already has a small rear window, I wouldn’t put anything back there. I think your KISS bobbleheads are better displayed in your home. Loud Fast Rules

If you have mirrors on BOTH sides of your car, you can COMPLETELY block the rear window if you want to, (in most states) Paul
