Is it legal to shoot back to the animal rights activists, who destroy the fur coat?

Basically it is totally legal to protect your life and property with the gun. If some lunatic throws something at you targeting the fur coat, is it legal to shoot back.
Thing is if someone throws something at you, how do you know what is it? Is it deadly? It is normal reaction to protect yourself.

deadly force can only be used when there is a threat of deadly force. you can’t kill someone just because the vandalize your property. IndianaJohn

Nowhere on earth is it legal to kill someone for damaging your coat.

If someone threw something on you and you survived, it’s obviously not poison. jakflak

    No.

    Sue, yes, shoot no. PARKERD

You’ll be charged with attempted murder, that’s the same as if a guy accidentally spilled paint on my coat and I turned around and killed him Booger

It’s not totally legal to use deadly force to protect property. That is incorrect, you may not legally shoot someone for damaging your property. By your logic, it would be legal to shoot someone who you get into a traffic accident with. They damaged your property didn’t they? T-Luv

Excessive force, unless you could prove your life was in danger. It is natural for you to protct yourself, but it is a little harsh to pull out a gun, unless they were throwing a knife or something.

I am personally against skinning animials alive, but I would NEVER destroy somebody else’s private property to express my anger. I just dont buy fur. sharliz79

It is only legal to hunt PETA members in the fall season, and only for the purpose of cooking them and serving them as Thanksgiving dinner to lions, tigers, and bears at the zoo. Fred C

You can use deadly force to prevent the immediate threat of bodily harm to yourself. You cannot use deadly force in retaliation and you cannot use deadly force to protect property. You can use reasonable and necessary force to protect property but not deadly force. laughter_every_day

That is a problem with people who insist on wearing real fur. You leave your home and you don’t know who’s going to throw what at and on you. There are so many better alternatives to wearing fur that would indicate you are not inhumane. However, if you just have to wear fur, why not have it made into panties. You get the satisfaction of having animal on your skin and no one else knows. gdsb

So if someone harms a fur coat made of 50 animals that were neglected, tortured, and killed for mere greed and pride, that YOU payed to have done to them for fashion, you think you should be able to kill or critically injure that person?

Well, you’re all about killing and harming for fashion aren’t you?

How selfish can someone get… animalia_libero
