Queen Queso asked: My neighbor is burning his trailer down instead of paying for it to be removed. We are in the state of Indiana. Is this legal?

tyler156 asked: I am currently looking for a new home and seen one that i really like. However, they have a stair case in the kitchen which leads up to the bedrooms upstairs. At first thought nothing of this, a bit strange but that’s all. However a friend has told me they think that is not legal. does anyone know if this is the case?

RobHunting asked: I live in Southern California and I see these shows and see cars at work or on the street that are highly modified and are driving on freeways. Is it legal to modify anything, as long as orginal emissions components are still intact? What is the limit? I found headers and intakes that are carb exempt but have not found anything on turbo kits. Anybody with any info are more than welcome to assist. Thank you.

Mitch M asked: What legal recourse do apartment renters have when it comes to putting up satellite dishes that conflict with the apartment building policies?
Do apartment managers have the right to “lock you out” of satellite providers?

ufo_josh asked: I am looking to set up a secure website offering people with Technical Specialities (e.g. Networking, Programming, Website design etc.) to search jobs placed by those in need of the work being done.
The website will ideally have an optional escrow service which will allow the Techie to complete the work whilst knowing they will get paid (if it meets correct standards) and they buyer can place funds into an account knowing that if the work is not satisfactory there is no bill to pay.
I was just wandering what kind of legal requirements, regulations and procedures there were associated with this type of service…
Any help or advice would be brilliant…
Thanks!
Im in the UK by the way….i’m guessing the laws are different depending on the country you trade/live in.

rnemtp asked: I’ve signed the contract. The bank told me my monthly payments. The lender/underwriters have backed out b/c the appraisal was high! What legal obligations are involved since I’m right on my end and the contract was signed saying that the bank is going to get the loan. I’m in limbo now with nothing to making payments to except outrageous payments of interest on a construction loan? Isn’t there something that can be done to push things along?

Mike asked: A friend and I want to go backpacking in Wisconsin, leave-no-trace camping along the way, and we need to know if it’ll be legal. We’re both sixteen, and have extensive wilderness and first-aid training, more so than the average adult. Is it legal to camp without an adult at age sixteen? Or is it eighteen? Please only tell me if you’re 100% sure. If you just think it’s eighteen and don’t think I should go, fine, but I need the actual law. Thanks.

RUFAUXREAL asked: A company hung some expensive heat repellant screens on my home but the screens are not pulled tight enough - they have ripples in them, like they’re wavy. They can be tightened but they won’t return my calls. What legal steps do I take to force them to fix this mess? I’d rather use my attorney, if that’s reasonable.
