(Ask for an Advisor) My ex hubby had his bachelors in electrical engineering, then he went to Texas Tech and got his Jurisprudence (?) there. So, it was just an additional 5 semesters for him. Biochemistry is fine. Engineering and computer science are popular. Even mathematics is ok. There's no one specific major other than the degree you get should be a BS and in the math or science field. The better your undergrad, the more impressive your transcript looks. So, it's a lot easier going to a top law school if you went to Harvard versus some low ranked state or private school. You want a science or math degree. Biochemistry is fine. Also, law schools usually don't take into consideration if your major was more difficult. For example, a 3.9 in an easy major would still look better than a 3.6 in a hard major like engineering, even though you worked 100x harder.
